[Trailer] Marvel Studios Unveils ‘Black Widow’ Trailer

"I used to have nothing. The I got this job. This family. But nothing lasts forever."

Forget the “snap” and the fallout from Avengers: Endgame, we’re headed back in the MCU history for a look at one of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s top agents and super-spy…Natasha Romanoff, a.k.a.Black Widow.

Early this morning, Marvel Studios dropped the official teaser of 2020’s the highly anticipated spotlight feature on Scarlett Johansson‘s badass character. The film takes us to Budapest, a city (and time period) referenced between Natasha and fellow Avenger Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner). Time period-wise, this adventure falls after the events of Captain America: Civil War but prior to Avengers: Infinity War.

The trailer also gives us our best look to-date at Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), the next “Widow” from the comic books, as well as Stranger ThingsDavid Harbour‘s Red Guardian. There are a few other subtle hints and references made from other MCU, but we’ll save those for you to try and catch.

Marvel Studios’ Black Widow is in theaters May 1, 2020.
