If you want to attend C2E2, but get intimidated by large crowds, Friday is definitely the best day to attend. Some of the biggest name guests might not be there yet, but the crowds are likely at the lowest level all weekend, as some might not arrive until later in the day or even until that evening. It’s also a good day to get a layout of the convention and scope out any purchases you plan to make.
Nonetheless, there was still lots of cosplay to be seen on Friday. There were certainly your big-name cosplays of superheroes and current movie and television characters, but there was also a fair share of more obscure characters or clever mashups.
