[Trailer] Chris Evans Narrates Documentary ‘Superpower Dogs’

“What if our best friends are our best hope?”

Chris Evans, Captain America and self-proclaimed “major dog fan,” posits this question in a documentary that shows dogs are much more than man’s best friend. The IMAX film shows that, just like humans, dogs can be superheroes too. You’ll journey around the world and meet six extraordinary dogs who go above and beyond every day to protect endangered species, work with those with special needs, and save people in danger.

On Collider, Chris Evans is quoted as saying, “I am really happy to be part of Superpower Dogs. I am a proud dog owner and completely understand the connection that humans have with these remarkable animals. I love the way this film highlights incredible working dogs who utilize their real-life superpowers to help and protect people.”

Here is the synopsis of the film:

Join an immersive IMAX® adventure to experience the life-saving superpowers and extraordinary bravery of some of the world’s most amazing dogs. In this inspiring true story, our best friends are also real-life superheroes. Journey around the globe to meet remarkable dogs who save lives and discover the powerful bond they share with their human partners. Follow Halo, a rookie puppy training to join one of the most elite disaster response teams in America. Meet Henry, an avalanche rescue expert in the Canadian Rockies, Reef, a Newfoundland lifeguard with the Italian coastguard, Ricochet, a Californian surf legend helping people with special needs, and the Bloodhound brothers, Tipper & Tony, who are leading the fight to save endangered species in Africa. As we discover the incredible abilities of dogs and the astonishing science behind their superpowers, we’ll never look at our best friends the same way again!

Here is a trailer for the film, showing just a taste of what you can expect to learn about these extraordinary animals.

The documentary website was other dogs owners to get in on the fun as well. They encourage you to share photos and stories of your dog’s superpower abilities by tagging @superpowerdogs or #superpowerdogs on Instagram.

Superpower Dogs will be in select IMAX theaters starting March 15.
