This weekend was the 16th annual ConnectiCon, held in Hartford, Connecticut. This is a multi-genre, family-friendly convention. It’s a convention that typically sees minimal drama and everyone walks away please with their experiences.
This year, they did have one event which will make this particular ConnectiCon stand out in their memories. It seems that an altercation outside ConnectiCon which coincided with a fireworks display was misinterpreted as an active shooter situation.
Other than that everything was great.
Jorge Paiz was on-site with his camera to capture some of the cosplay from Day 1 and 2. Be sure to head over to his Facebook page to see more fantastic cosplay!
