PopCultHQ’s Comic Book Review:
Ninja-K #3

NINJA-KWriting:

Christos pulls the curtain away this issue for readers and Ninja-K. Ninjak at last faces his foe, the one responsible for taking down other members of the Ninja arm of MI6. In doing so, Christos has increased the stakes of this adventure by bringing an on-par enemy into the story. It makes issue #3 a hair-raising tale for people because it is page after page of action, revelations and even more questions to be answered.

Art:

NINJA-KTomas gives Ninja-K fans a book of hardcore action this issue. On every page, something is happening to move the plot ahead and keep everyone engaged. It’s as if Tomas is each time producing the storyboards for a Ninja-K movie, filled with intense artwork every time that brings the Ninja-K world into sharp focus for comics readers.

Diego dishes out sweet colors for issue #3. Especially with the costume and weapons of Ninja-K’s revealed enemy. The color contrasts between the two are what helps set them apart, makes them easy not only to identify, but to understand their developed mindsets. That is thanks to Diego and his continual excellent work as colorist on this series.

A Larger World Studios brings more top notch lettering. The lettered dialogue between Ninja-K and his adversary is particularly excellent. Even though there isn’t any distinguishable changes in the letters themselves, it is the way Larger World presented them. It shows that these two persons are completely different entities. It just goes to show that Larger World Studio’s is fantastic as a letterer.

NINJA-K

PopCultHQ’s overall assessment:

It’s wall-to-wall action in issue #3 of Ninja-K. Intense fights, villains revealed, clever exchanges of banter and dialogue. The sort of thing that makes Ninjak a great hero and a great comic, with this issue being no exception for fans. With the plot thickening, everyone is not going to want to miss out on this or the other issues that are ahead.

PopCultHQ’s Rating:
