‘Arrow’ Star to Tackle American Ninja Warrior Course

It is a well-known fact that actors in superhero shows train hard to stay in fighting shape, and Arrow star Stephen Amell is certainly no exception. He will often share parts of his workouts on his social media pages, showing just how hard he works to stay in top physical shape. Now, it looks like he will be using his skills to tackle American Ninja Warrior‘s notoriously difficult obstacle course.

He confirmed his appearance yesterday on Twitter saying, “You will be entertained!”

Amell will be appearing as part of a special celebrity edition during “Red Nose Week,” which is a comedy charity week that benefits children in need. Before tackling the course, each celebrity will be coached by an experienced competitor. Kacy Catanzaro, the first woman to reach the finals of American Ninja Warrior, will be Amell’s coach. Amell has previously appeared in a series of matches with the WWE against wrestler Stardust (Cody Rhodes).

Amell will appear on American Ninja Warrior May 25 on NBC.
