Warner Bros. film has just announced that the eagerly awaited Aquaman movie will be released two months later than originally planned. It was scheduled for release on October 5, 2018 and will now be released on December 21, 2018, perfect timing for the holiday filmgoers.
We don’t have a reason for the delay, but the fact that they will be using it as their holiday draw shows that they have confidence in the movie. Who knows, but maybe it will become another Holiday go-to flick.
However. this is also the date Sony Animation has plans to release their animated Miles Morales Spider-Man movie.
Many are claiming that this will create a head-to-head conflict for DC and Marvel, but I feel that the two films will pull in different audiences. Yes, there will be the comic fans who go to both, but the fact that one is cartoon and one live-action automatically separates the audiences.
