SDCC 2016: “Justice League” Trailer Debuts

This weekend at San Diego Comic-Con International has been the place where the film studios have been releasing brand-new trailers for upcoming movies. During yesterday’s panel, Warner Bros. gave fans their first look at 2017’s Justice League.

The trailer provides us with the recruiting and establishing of the team, as well as the formal introduction of the non-Trinity characters: Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and The Flash (Ezra Miller). Miller looks to be the comedic relief in the film, which should be a nice juxtaposition to Bruce Wayne/Batman’s dark and brooding demeanor. And Momoa’s Aquaman will certainly change people’s thoughts that Arthur Curry can only talk to fish. Momoa looks badass! Also, notably absent in the trailer is Clark Kent/Superman. We know Henry Cavill will be in the film, but will it be in a flashback scene or will he join the League?

Sit back and enjoy the special Comic-Con footage released for Justice League!

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash-it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League comes to theaters November 2017.
