Vans Showing Some Love For 8-Bit: Company Partners With Nintendo For Gamer Shoes

Spread the love

Men, women, boys & girls! Vans is bringing you apparel for your inner gamer. Show your love for these Nintendo-clad items from Vans. Shoes, shirts, backpacks and hats! So. Much. Yes!

Vans has a track record of teaming with widely-recognized, pop culture properties. To date, the shoe manufacturer has created shoes and apparel for, and partnered with, Star Wars, Disney, The Beatles, and now Nintendo.

Vans and Nintendo wanted to create a line of retro gaming sneakers and accessories for all ages. In total, there are 13 different footwear styles, each of which feature prints and designs that pay homage to the gaming company’s first ever console… the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). There are items featuring Super Mario Bros.Donkey Kong and The Legend of Zelda, as well as 8-bit graphics and characters. And so much detail. Even the tongues of the shoes and the aglets get the gaming treatment.

Even the box the shoes come in look like an NES console. Take my money now!

The Nintendo line will be on sale for a limited time. Prices are expected to fall between $37 and $70 for the shoes, depending on if they are for children or adults. They are now available as of today at Vans’ online store, along with select retail locations.
