Some newly released photos from the set of Netflix’s original series ‘Marvel’s Luke Cage‘ reveal actor Erik LaRay Harvey as Willis “Diamondback” Stryker in a fist-fight with the Power Man Cage.
In the comic books, Luke and Willis are best friends before a woman, Reva Connors, comes between them and the man who later becomes known as Diamondback sets the hero up by taking Cottonmouth’s shipment of heroin and pinning it on Luke. It was during Cage’s time in prison that the soon-to-be Hero for Hire gains his extraordinary abilities.
Luke Cage now looks to be facing off against at least two villains with Cornell “Cottonmouth” Stokes (Mahershala Ali) and now Willis “Cottonmouth” Stryker (Erik LaRay Harvey), so it appears we have the early stages of the formation of the Serpent Society!
