Arriving in comic shops this Wednesday for New Comic Book Day (NCBD) is the latest in the adventures of the awesome duo of Archer & Armstrong (and Mary-Maria). Here’s a preview at what you can expect from the latest in the fun-filled, action-packed series from Valiant…
When Armstrong learns that his old pal Frank has died, he embarks on a journey into his magical, bottomless bag to find something special: a bottle of Lagavulin 1907. Unfortunately, Armstrong left the bag open, leaving the unsavory elements trapped in there to make their way out!
Thinking his buddy Armstrong is in danger, Archer heads into the bag on a rescue mission. He asks his adopted sister Mary-Maria to keep an eye on things while he’s gone. After Archer’s gone, she calls in her sect follows — the Sisters of Perpetual Darkness — for backup. Before Mary-Maria and the Sisters can steal the bag, more oddities make their way out, including Davey the Mackerel! (PAUSE FOR APPLAUSE)
The evil Bacchus—before force-feeding cheap alcohol to Archer and Armstrong—revealed how he ended up in the bag, and also the fact that he has Amstrong’s precious bottle of booze! (OH NO!)
Mary-Maria then rescued the inebriated Archer and his oaf of a friend and attempted to escape—but there was an entire army of trash golems and other nasty creatures in their way!
What are you waiting for?! Action and adventure await! GO, GO, GO!
