Television’s biggest stars were welcomed by Chicago’s biggest pop culture fans and PopCultHQ was there to cover it for you, our loyal fans! All the big stars like Stephen Amell, Robbie Amell, Robin Lord Taylor, David Mazouz and so many more took center stage at the Donald Stephens Convention, Rosemont, IL. The first inaugural show was not overly jammed packed and left for plenty of great opportunities for fans to really got to meet the actors behind their favorite characters.
Cosplay has always been one of our biggest joys to show and once again we highlight a few of our favorites from the show. Who can resist kids in cosplay! Just look at those faces as Spider-Man and Batman cosplayers hold up Evolusion comics from publishers 1 More Round Entertainment.
Always great to catch up with superstar artist Rob Prior as we also get to show off this killer Joker painting he had just finished up before we arrived. Rob will be in one of our future spotlighted artist, so keep an eye out for that.
This is one seriously awesome joker paining from the best duel-handed painter in the world!
Overall a decent first showing for Heroes and Villains Fan Fest Chicago and we are more than excited to check out future shows when they come rolling into town. The next time we meet with the crew behind Heroes and Villains will be at Chicago’s Walker Stalker Con 2016. Then we might be brave enough to try The Walking Dead Experience.
If any improvements could be made, it would be the demand for more comic book guest creators as many fans were asking for. Also a lot more vendors would be an added bonus to this Chicago show with so many local retailers. The only thing not lacking were the celebrities! As we got to meet and chat with many of comic TV’s biggest heroes.
Upcoming exclusive interviews!
