C2E2 always brings in a variety of guests that covers a wide genre and appeals to all audiences. This year they have several voice actors. You may not be familiar with their names, but you definitely know their work.
Voice acting is truly an art form of it’s own. Unlike regular physical actors there is no body language to convey emotion or characterization, everything must be portrayed through the voice itself and these ladies do a wonderful job.
Stephanie Sheh is a Michigan born voice actress whose voice work has spanned more than a decade and covered everything from video games to anime. A few of her better known characters include Usagi Tsukino of Sailor Moon, Yui from Sword Art Online, Orihime Inoue from Bleach, Hinata Hyuga from Naruto, and Eureka of Eureka Seven.
Michelle Ruff is known for her work in anime and video games. Some of her roles have included Chi in Chobits, Rukia Kuchiki in Bleach, Yoko Littner in Gurren Lagann, Zoe Orimoto in Digimon Frontier, and several voices in Digimon Fusion. She also voiced Jill Valentine in the newer Resident Evil games and Cream the Rabbit in Sonic the Hedgehog game.
Both actresses have a diverse range in their voice talents. It’s not everyone that can carry off multiple characters in a show and have each of them sound and act distinctly different. These ladies know how to use their voices.
These talented ladies will be there on Saturday and Sunday, check them out.
