The win for best Back to the Future celebration has to go to USA Today‘s surprise headline front cover! Talk about being a total TROLL, hahahaha!!
It has been 26 years since “Back to the Future” was released, and 26 years since Doc Brown and Marty McFly traveled to October 21, 2015, which of course is today. The premise in the movie Back to the Future 2, was Doc Brown taking Marty Mcfly to the future (October 21st, 2015) to help save Marty’s very own family future. As the Headline suggest it was Marty’s Son who got caught up in the future Griff’s gang heist and was arrested. So USA Today decided to recreate the front page cover of the USA Today that appears in the film. Only this would suggest that Marty never got to pull his Mcfly swap (the Dad Marty taking the place of his Son) to prevent the “bad future” Doc wanted to avert in the first place.
Take a look at the cover that appears in the film:
USA Today had to change some things up from the original front page cover including taking out the headline that “Queen Diana” was visiting Washington, because well, that’s obvious. They also had to actually write text in the articles since only the same block of text appear under every headline in the film.
