Looks like Cookie is going to have some big names to push around next year on the mega successful Empire!! FOX network has enlisted some big names in actor-comedian Chris Rock, pop star Alicia Keys and singer/actor Lenny Kravitz for guest roles next season, Fox TV chairman and CEO Dana Walden announced to advertisers in New York on Monday.

No direct details have been given on what roles will be given to the stars but I will be expecting not much more than cameos for the trio. In Empires debut season talents like Snoop Dogg, Gladys Knight and Mary J. Blige also made cameos during the freshman year of episodes. The show is not short on celebrity fans who are just chomping at the bit to get a guest role on the hit show.

Previously, producers rumors suggested Oprah and Common may appear in the new season as well, but none of that information has been confirmed

Fox is planning a HUGE season of Empire for its second year, by raising the full season order from 12 to 18 episodes. Who could not resist milking the hot series like Empire which was a record-breaking ratings phenomena for Fox, averaging 17.3 million viewers per episode! Instead of launching Empire in the spring like its first year, the hip-hop drama will return in the fall, with the second half of its episodes airing in 2016.
